Character Concept

Hi, I was a little busy these past few weeks and couldn't update the blog :( , but I'm going to try to post a few stuff in the coming days.

Here's a concept I did for a friend of mine, it's for a personal project he is writing and he asked me to design some characters. I worked just with some descriptions and some references he gave me. Sorry for the watermark :S but since these aren't my ideas originally, I felt it was appropriate.

This is supposed to be a kind of steampunky version of Billy the Kid. :D

To the first one is the pencil sketch and the other one is the cleaned up and digitally inked version. I may post the colored version later when done.

Hola, estuve un poco ocupado estas últimas semanas y no pude actualizar el blog :( , pero voy a tratar de publicar algunas cosas en los días siguientes.  

Aquí les dejo un concepto que hice para un amigo mío, es para un proyecto personal que él está escribiendo y me pidió que le diseñara unos personajes. Trabaje en base a descripciones que me hizo y algunas referencias que me mostró.  Perdón por la marca de agua, pero como estas ideas no son mías originalmente, sentí que era lo apropiado.

Este se supone que es una versión un poco steampunk de Billy the Kid :D

El primero es el boceto a lápiz y el segundo limpiado y tintado digital. Mas adelante tal vez publique cuando ya este coloreado.

First step is with paper and pencil, but the video starts once I have scanned the art into the computer.

So I decided to do a video of how I draw Eliko, the main character, with traditional tools. I'm thinking of doing a video some other time about how I do it digitally.
